Prior to connecting to an MS SQL Server instance from a Mac machine, there are some configuration settings that need to enabled on the SQL Server database.
Ms Sql Server Mac
1. The SQL Server database should be configured to accept TCP/IP connections. Many SQL Server installations are set up to only allow shared memory or named pipe access. You can setup the TCP/IP option using a tool like the SQL Server Configuration manager. Under Network Configuration there should be an option for Protocols. One of those protocols is TCP/IP . Make sure to enable TCP/IP.
2. If the user connecting to the database does not have a valid user id and password for the windows domain used by SQL Server, mixed mode authentation would need to be enabled on the SQL Server instance, and an administrator would need to create a SQL Server user id and password for the user connecting to the instance.
The easiest way to connect to MS SQL Server from Mac is with a JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) driver. There are two options for JDBC driver. Once is the open source jTDS driver. The other is the JDBC driver from Microsoft.
RazorSQL can use either of these drivers to connect to SQL Server, and the jTDS driver comes pre-installed with RazorSQL. Why don't you try downloading it on your computer and see if you can extract the file from the download? Right-click and show package content.

I have been successfully using the built in Mac OS X IPSec client on Lion 10.7.2 for a couple months now. I have no need for the Cisco IPSec client anymore and to boot into stupid 32-bit mode. Not sure if the issues you guys are having but I followed this guide and it works perfectly. Installing the Cisco AnyConnect YSU VPN Client (Mac OS X 10.6 or later) v. Step 4: Start the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client web launcher Click Continue to accept the YSU Acceptable Use of University Technology Resources Policy and start the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client web launcher. Aug 15, 2011 I haven't read anything about changes to the VPN client going from OS X 10.6.8 to 10.7, but ever since I upgraded to Lion my MacBook Pro will not establish a VPN connection on the first try. A client requires that I connect via the 'Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client', through which I enter servername, username and password. It works. But I'd like to use the Build-in VPN settings provided by Mac OS-X (Sierra) instead. Here I have three options (L2TP, Cisco IPSec or IKEv2). I've tried the Cisco IPSec option and entered the server name and credentials that I have working with Cisco AnyConnect, but this is not working.
So my question; Is it only possible to use the Cisco Client? It's not very user friendly and doesn't allow to remember the password (I guess that's why I have to use it) ...

I'll bet your client's IT security group set the VPN standard and require the use of the Cisco client to connect to their network. Many companies do this. If you don't use it, likely you won't connect, or if you do you could find yourself disconnected, flagged as a security breach.... And if you have to use any shared files or resources on the client's network, it's likely that only through the Cisco client will this be allowed. With all that....
Here's the link to Cisco's support page for the AnyConnect client.
Now, you've installed the package on your Mac, you've got login credentials. Your client should have given you configuration settings to go with your credentials. The logs for the client are in /opt/cisco/vpn -- you should look in there and see what/any error messages you are getting.
Your connection options are Layer 2 tunneling (L2TP), IPSec and IKE42 (IKE is Internet Key Exchange). Per Cisco's support pages you need 4.3 MR3 for Sierra to work, do you have that installed? Once you've checked that out, then I'd set it for IPSec and try to connect.
If you continue to have problems, you should contact your client's IT group; I've seen odd parameters with VPN's and you want to make sure you have all the information you need.

Anyconnect can use IPSec or SSL VPN connections. This is determined by your infrastructure design. OSX does not natively support SSL VPN, so if that's your company uses then you cannot use the native OSX VPN options.
For any connect to remember the password, it also has to be set by your company on the server side. The any connect client checks with the server to enable or disable password saving.

My go to dual screen finder replacement
I've been looking for a dual pane finder for quite a while. I had paid the money for PathFinder, but found it to be so incredibly slow at moving files on network shares that I considered it unusable. Commander One has a lot of the functionality of PathFinder and it does everything pretty well. The only small negative I have is in how it highlights selected files and directories.

Great Mac finder, especially reliable, clear UI like Total Commander
Very pleased to see this. Please continue developing ;-) . Devs seem responsive: I asked for alternate line shading in the browser….and it soon appeared in an update! Plug in options to add features would be nice. TC (TotalCommander) has been in development for so long it has most features one could possibly dream of-but I never use Win any more. Wonder what the Commander One development plan looks like??
I wish this were available the first 6 or 8 years after I switched to Macs! I was in total TotalCommander withdrawal (except for use in a VM). So I learned to use finder & pathfinder and don’t use CommanderOnePro as my only finder. But CommanderOne is solid and great! E.g. the archive features (different compress engines builtin, plus ability to view archive as a directory-without dearchiving) are better than most other mac file managers. And the design with the option of old fashioned function keys for copy/move--looks clunky at first--but is 100% more reliable than drag/drop for critical file management tasks. Plus this’ll give me directory sizes for internal or external drives instantly—unlike other finders which often churn away or fail to update.

my review
Firstly i was a hardcore Total Commander user, can’t live without it. And after switch to MacOS i’ve searched for an alternative and i was very sad that all of the available file managers lack features that is must have for me, ugly or just acts weird. Than I found Commander Pro. This is the best alternative for TC.
Here are few possible enhancements imho:
- copy/move files: if one file is selected for copy/move the filename needs to be filled in the end of path input, so you can rename the file if you want
- file overwrite: for me this is the worst implementation. Why is the “keep both” the deafult? is anybody use this? imho the default is need to be cancel and need some shortcut or able to switch options with the cursors. Oh and the 'apply to all' needs to be an option not a checkbox. For this the TC is the golden standard.
- the built in viewer need to open any unknow format in text mode, not in hex
- draging files need some enhancements. When i like to drag file it always keeps select files, and when i like to select files it drag one of them
- the calculate dir size feature need some process indicator that it is in the process. Check TC for example.

1) There is an option copy and rename file at the same time. Just press F5, then put a slash in the path field and type the required file name after the slash. If you copy only one file and type a new name after the slash, the file will be renamed and will appear with the new name in the target pane.
2) In order to skip this 'keep both', please go to System Preferences-> Keyboard-> Shortcuts and activate 'All Controls' option.

It's not Mac OS X native, but you can give Eclipse's SVN client a try. It works on Mac OS X, and it's pretty good. The purpose of this project is to develop a SVN client for the IBM i. TortoiseSVN, a Windows shell extension, gives feedback on the state of versioned items by adding overlays to the icons in the Windows Explorer. Repository commands can be executed from the enhanced context menu provided by Tortoise.
Cornerstone is a GUI for Subversion written with Xcode for MacOS X.
SmartSVN provides a similar Explorer integration, but also can be used as a standalone SVN client for different platforms. Please note that LibreSSL is not a supported crypto backend. We accept patches and we do test on OpenBSD 6.0 which comes with LibreSSL, but if newer versions of LibreSSL break API compatibility we do not take responsibility to fix that.
Also note that Windows installers have been built with NSIS version that has been patched against several NSIS installer code execution and privilege escalation problems. Based on our testing, though, older Windows versions such as Windows 7 might not benefit from these fixes. We thus strongly encourage you to always move NSIS installers to a non-user-writeable location before running them. We are moving to MSI installers in OpenVPN 2.5, but OpenVPN 2.4.x will remain NSIS-only.
Compared to OpenVPN 2.3 this is a major update with a large number of new features, improvements and fixes. Some of the major features are AEAD (GCM) cipher and Elliptic Curve DH key exchange support, improved IPv4/IPv6 dual stack support and more seamless connection migration when client's IP address changes (Peer-ID). Also, the new --tls-crypt feature can be used to increase users' connection privacy.
OpenVPN GUI bundled with the Windows installer has a large number of new features compared to the one bundled with OpenVPN 2.3. Please note that OpenVPN 2.4 installers will not work on Windows XP. The last OpenVPN version that supports Windows XP is 2.3.18.

I had low expectations....
DameWare Mini Remote Control is a program for connecting servers, desktops and notebooks remotely with an aim to solve troubleshooting. It can work on several platforms. It can work on several platforms. Mac and Citrix? You'd then click whatever dameware icon and it will fire up the Citrix client on your Mac. No need for Windows at all.
They even beat that. Not much use for this app, except burning up your iPhone storage..
Could be better
They need to allow browsing of Active Directory computers so you don't have to enter the workstation info in if you've never connected to it. Another alternative would be to allow importing from your Saved Host List in DameWare Mini Remote on the Windows side.
Would also be nice if it included some of the features found in DRS like group membership and password reset capabilities. There are other AD management apps out there, but no 'all in one' solution that I know of.
This is, however, a big step towards complete mobility for enterprise level system administrators and I'm glad to see it in the App Store.
Poor Execution
I have been using this for about 10 minutes now and so far it is one of the worst remote experiences that I have had. The screen refresh is horrible, which is a huge contributor to a poor overall experience So far this product barely functions.
